Anger Management

On a scale of 0-10 when you are at a 4, 5 or 6 you are angry, when you are at an 8, 9 or 10 you are in a rage. Rage occurs when one upsetting event piles onto another and another, and you never have time to fully heal from any of them. With each new hurt the anger comes up quicker, builds stronger and lasts longer. In the moment you say and do things that you would never imagine saying or doing at any other time. You just see red and at that moment you don’t care about your reputation, the future, the consequences or what effect it is having on your family or career.

We focus on helping you to map out the roots of your anger or rage and then we use techniques that are powerful enough to help people to fully heal from major traumas like rape, child abuse or combat to fully resolve the roots of your anger. By the end of therapy we want you to be able to be completely calm and appropriately assertive in the situations that used to send you into orbit.
